Chalet Erla in Méribel is a stunning, newly finished 7-bedroom chalet located in the small hamlet of Nantgerel, a 4-minute drive from the centre of this charming French ski resort. The closest lift is Le Raffort which takes you directly to the centre of Méribel from where you can connect to all lifts leaving from La Chaudanne. It is only a short stroll to the picturesque village of Le Raffort which boasts one of the area’s most sought after restaurants, L’Atelier, or the authentic local bar and restaurant, Le Martagon.
Chalet Erla boasts beautiful views across the valley to La Gittaz, Méribel Village and beyond. The contemporary design incorporates vaulted ceilings in the living area and a feature fireplace that nicely separates the dining space. This is the perfect property for large groups of friends or a few families to take over. All seven bedrooms are en-suite, and some have private terraces. Most of the beds can be made up as twins or doubles which make this a very versatile option for groups. Outside on the spacious terrace is a large jacuzzi, just the spot to soak aching muscles with a glass of something fizzy at the end of the day. The chalet also has a spacious sauna.
Upon entry to the chalet on the ground floor you will find two bedrooms, these are side by side each their with own en-suite. The bed configuration throughout this chalet can be Doubles or Twins, except for bedroom 5 on the second floor, south wing. As you make your way upstairs to the first floor, you’ll find that access to the other 5 bedrooms splits to either the North or South wings.
In the south wing off from the living room, you shall find a corridor leading through to our third bedroom and a set of stairs. The bedroom off to the right is a twin/double which comes with an en-suite and a balcony looking across the valley towards La Gittaz. Within the south wing of the chalet, the stairs lead up to bedroom 4 & 5. Bedroom 5 is our fixed double with ensuite and bedroom 4 contains twin/double bed with en-suite and balcony.
In the north wing, the access here is by continuing up the central staircase. Upon reaching the second floor you’ll find bedrooms 6 & 7 next door to each other. Both twins/doubles with en-suite. The only difference here is that bedroom 6 has the double doors leading onto the balcony looking out across the valley towards La Gittaz which is east.
