Chalet Vidar

Chalet Vidar is a modern luxury chalet in St Moritz, a spacious rental property of eclectic character with room for up to 12 guests in its six en-suite bedrooms. With its fabulous central location and some lovely private facilities on offer, this chalet is perfect for a luxury ski holiday for close groups of friends.

The first aspect that stands out about Chalet Vidar is its idiosyncratic sense of style. From towering vaulted ceilings of exposed wood that maintain an alpine charm, to patterned designer furniture and bold contemporary artworks that are sure to draw the eye, this luxury chalet is unlike any other. The main living space is found on the top floor of the chalet, a capacious open-plan room with lounge and dining areas of ample size and an eye-catching fireplace between the two. A large, fully-equipped kitchen, with a stylish design of light woods and matte blacks, sits adjacent to the dining table, with large double doors that can be left opened or closed off. The chalet provides a tremendous view of the church spire and mountains across the lake, which can be admired through the lounge’s expansive picture window or on the top floor balcony.

On its first floor level, Chalet Vidar contains a small spa and wellness area. Here you will discover a cocooning sauna, cooling shower and fitness area, with plenty of floor space for yoga/pilates sessions, along with a workout bench.

When it comes to providing entertainment, the chalet has a number of dedicated areas to keep guests occupied. As well as the main living areas, the top floor of Chalet Vidar houses both its sumptuous TV lounge and its library, with the latter featuring some comfy chaise lounge seating. The artworks on show in these rooms are as much a spectacle as the rest of the chalet.

Chalet Vidar hosts up to 12 guests, spread across its six delightful bedrooms. The bedrooms are lovingly furnished, with calming pastel hues and plush double beds, with one room having twin beds instead. A cavernous Master suite with warming fireplace and private balcony is found on the top floor, while the other 5 bedrooms are all spread throughout the first level of the chalet. Each bedroom features a distinctive en-suite bath or shower room, with striking designs and vivid colours.

An internal elevator travels between the four levels of Chalet Vidar for ease of access. There are two garages with space for a total of four cars, with a further two spaces outside the chalet. In one of the garages, you will also find the ski room, with racks to store skis, boots and poles. The chalet also provides laundry facilities.
